A Zip Recuiter account is subdivided into two categories; an employer account, and a jobseeker account. This article shows how to delete your ZipRecuiter account when you’re no longer in need of the service.
A job seeker ZipRecruiter account can be deleted in THREE EASY STEPS.
STEP ONE – SIGN IN TO YOUR ZIPRECRUITER ACCOUNT
From your web browser, go to the ZipRecruiter website via ziprecruiter.com
Click the sign in button, and you will be redirected to the next page.
You are expected to log in as a job seeker here. Input your login details, and sign in.
STEP TWO – ACCESS YOUR PROFILE AND ACCOUNT SETTINGS
After gaining access to the ZipRecruiter homepage, you need to access your profile from the top-right corner. Click on the three dots beside the notification (bell) icon, and a drop-down menu will follow
From the drop down menu, select account settings, and you will be redirected to a new page where you can manage your account preferences.
STEP THREE – CLOSE YOUR ZIPRECRUITER ACCOUNT
After gaining access to the “account settings” page, scroll to the bottom, and you will find the option to delete your account. Click on the option, and confirm your choice on the next screen.
After confirming that you want to delete your ZipRecruiter account, you will receive a confirmation message on the next screen
Your ZipRecruiter account will be closed, and you will lose access to everything related within 72 hours.
To delete your employer account, you’d need an entirely different process to do that. You cannot deactivate your ZipRecruiter account from the website like a jobseeker will do.
To delete your ZipRecruiter employer account, you are required to contact ZipRecruiter support by email via [email protected] or reach their phone lines via 855-813-0288.
If your ZipRecruiter employer account is still in its trial version, then you needn’t worry about contacting support. You can close your account in three simple steps.
STEP ONE – SIGN IN TO YOUR EMPLOYER ACCOUNT
Sign into your ZipRecruiter account from the login page.
Ensure to sign in as an employer, not a job seeker.
STEP TWO – LOCATE YOUR ACCOUNT SETTINGS
From the top-right corner of the home page, locate your account settings.
From there, select subscriptions, and then, overview.
STEP THREE – CANCEL YOUR FREE TRIAL
After selectiong your subscriptions overview, you will be redirected to a new page, where you can cancel your free trial.
After canceling your free trial, your ZipRecruiter employer account will no longer be active.
