PeopleFinders is a People Search Site that has access to 43 billion records. With such a huge database, it is next to impossible for you to hide your publicly available information from its users. The worst part is that it takes only a couple of minutes for the users to get your information, even the ones you would rather keep private. But luckily, there is a way to avoid any interested parties or organizations from having these, you just have to follow the steps below and delete your information from their database.
Step 1: Search for your Information
Go to People Finders homepage here: https://www.peoplefinders.com/. Use the Name Search feature to search for your listing. Enter your first & last name, along with the state and city where you live, then click the "Search" button.
Step 2: Look for the Listing you want to Delete
Browse all the search results and look for the listing that belongs to you. Once you verify that the listing is indeed yours, click the "View Details" button next to that listing.
A pop-up window will appear right after the site loads your listing, click the "I understand- build my report" button.
Step 3: Copy the URL of the Your Listing
Get a copy of the URL/Website link of your listing that you want to delete.
Step 4: Go to the Website's Opt-out Page
Scroll down to the bottom section of their page, then locate and click the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link.
Paste the URL/Website link of your listing on the first text box then enter your email address in the second one. Perform the CAPTCHA and click on the "Send Request" button.
Step 5: Confirm Opt-Out Request
You will receive an email asking you to click on the link included in that email to confirm your request.
You will be directed back to the People Finders website, perform the CAPTCHA once again then click the "Send Request" button.
